Why Atheltic-track Flooring ?

Dayal’s Athletic Running Tracks are built with precision to deliver exceptional performance. The surface is synthetic, weather-resistant, and engineered for the demands of track and field.

Foundation Requirements
The track can be installed on asphalt or cement concrete foundations. The foundation must provide adequate strength and stability. Cement concrete foundations require expansion joints, while a waterproof layer is not necessary.

Installation Process
Dayal’s composite synthetic running tracks are manufactured to meet national quality standards. Advanced mechanical paving and spraying techniques ensure a smooth, even finish. The surface offers excellent elasticity, permeability, breathability, and long-term durability.

Maintenance & Performance
The foundation must be clean and completely dry before installation. A curing period of at least 21 days is recommended. Once installed, the track is suitable for all-weather use and provides excellent wear resistance, compression strength, and long-lasting performance.

Best For
Olympic and competition athletics tracks, school and university running facilities, community fitness circuits, and indoor training runways.

Why Dayal: IAAF-compliant specifications, precise foundation requirements, professional installation team.

FAQ

What is athletic track flooring?
Athletic track flooring is a specialized surface designed for outdoor and indoor running tracks. It is made from various materials such as polyurethane (PU), rubber, and other synthetic compounds to provide the proper balance of durability, traction, and shock absorption for athletes. These surfaces are engineered to enhance performance while minimizing the risk of injury.

How does the design of athletic track flooring impact performance?
The design of the track, including the surface texture and thickness, plays a crucial role in performance. Tracks designed with a slight texture enhance grip, while the right balance of cushioning and shock absorption ensures that runners experience reduced joint impact without compromising speed. The track’s consistency and smoothness are also key to performance, allowing for faster times and better results.
Can athletic track flooring be repaired if damaged?
Yes, athletic track flooring can be repaired if it becomes damaged. Minor cracks or surface imperfections can often be repaired with special track resurfacing products. However, larger issues, such as deep gouges or large tears, may require more extensive repairs or even re-coating of the affected area. It’s important to address damage promptly to prevent it from worsening.
